This large temperate forest is kept pristine for its good hunting. Boar and deer are the most common quarry, but stranger creatures can be tracked as well. There are a number of blinds, cottages and other small structures randomly throughout the forest. The only large structure is the jumping-off point of The Tankard and Tree Hunting Lodge - really many smaller lodges which have been kludged together.
Fields
The fields of Apland are vast. Agriculture is the main export out of Apland, but not every square inch of the fertile fields region has been farmed. Although there are roads between the largest settlements and homesteads, it is still quite possible to lose one’s bearings in the fields if a traveler breaks from the paths.
Greenville
Greenville is the only true city on Apland - but only barely. Its population is almost entirely halflings, and so buildings are squatted and half-underground. While Greenville may not be tall, it does extend outward quite a lot, rolling hill after rolling hill.
Pauswood
Pauswood is the only lumber-producing part of the Weald. It is a dedicated lumber town, and is also the most diverse place in Apland, because it attracts laborers from all around the archipelago. The work is dangerous, but easy to learn and well-compensated.
